Stocks are 100% PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) certified which is a chain of custody system that proves the legality and sustainability of the timber.

High-Grade Canadian Softwood optimised for strength and stability and manufactured to exacting lasting standards

The lengths we have available are listed in the drop-down box to the right and can be selected and ordered online. These range from 1.22m > 4.88m.

Kiln Dried to circa 15%

Specie
Black Barn Cladding is sourced from British Columbia Canadian Premium Lodgepole Pine, which has been graded for the highest quality and optimised strength and stability. The timber has a natural wood Textured finish which has a urethane-based performance coating applied giving long-term durability. The finish allows the natural look of the raw rough timber grain to be seen through but with a long-lasting colour finish enhancing the beauty of the real timber beneath.

Colour
Fashionable Black Textured wood finish stocked. Touch-up paint is available for end cuts. *Bespoke colours available to order please enquire, lead time for special colours is circa 14 weeks from North American Source*

Fixings
Stainless steel Annular ring nails are recommended, we stock the recommended black coated loose nails in 2.5kilo boxes these come in 51mm, 64mm and 76mm lengths

Delivery

At Southgate Timber one of our biggest strengths is our fast and efficient delivery service. Based in Moreton CM5 0JA, near Harlow in Essex close to the M25 we cover the whole UK mainland.

Our Website automatically calculates the cheapest option for any given basket this is based on size, weight, and post code. Options are based on below;-

Treatment (liquids) £9.50 + vat
Courier Data bag (shop items to 5kgs) £15.00 + vat
Courier timber items £37.50 + vat for first 15 kilos + 50p per kilo over 15 kilos, 25% premium for lengths 3.0m & longer
Lorry timber items from £40.00 + vat
Courier Surcharges may apply for long-distance locations

What we need from you on Courier deliveries

Please advise us of any day’s that you will not be able to accept delivery as soon as you order
Please advise us if you have access issues at your delivery location
Couriers are instructed to leave parcels somewhere safe should no one be at the property
We cannot offer set times for courier deliveries

What we need from you on Lorry deliveries

Please advise us of any day’s that you will not be able to accept delivery as soon as you order
Please advise us if you have access issues at your delivery location
The driver must have assistance to offload unless alternative arrangements made with our transport team
Deliveries are to kerbside only
Access must be suitable for lorries which will be 3.5 tonne 7.5 tonne or 14 tonne lorries (7.5 tonne being similar to average refuse collection lorry)
The drivers cannot enter customer properties or take materials to rear gardens.
Please check the delivery ticket is correct and sign to confirm this.

Collection

If you wish to collect please enter product into your basket and proceed to checkout.

During the checkout phase you will be able to select your day and time slot, your goods will be pre-picked and ready waiting on your arrival

Lead times are currently next day soonest and collections are Monday to Friday

Shop product like screws and treatment will be in the office please ensure you go to the office to get your paperwork and any accessories.

Note orders under £25.00 can still be ordered online but collection will be booked after the purchase is complete, one of our sales team will contact you to book this.
