Prime Grade American White Oak

Lengths
The lengths we have available are listed above and can be selected and ordered online. Please allow 100mm excess on the exact length required for end trimming of both ends of the boards before installation.

Moisture Content
Kiln dried to 9% - 11%

Durability
Used internally only, not durable or suitable for outside use. For internal applications this specie has good impact resistance and strength properties. Machines to a fine finish for high-quality joinery applications.

Specie
North American White Oak botanical name Quercus Alba. Mostly straight-grained with a medium to coarse texture.

Colour
Creamy light-brown in appearance and consistent in colour. Sapwood is lighter in colour and heartwood is light to dark brown.

Fixings
Normally installed with predrill, screw and plug method. Thinner sections can be installed with stainless steel nails.
