Grading Prime Grade American White Oak Lengths The lengths we have available are listed above and can be selected and ordered online. Please allow 100mm excess on the exact length required for end trimming of both ends of the boards before installation.
Moisture Content Kiln dried to 9% - 11%
Durability Used internally only, not durable or suitable for outside use. For internal applications this specie has good impact resistance and strength properties. Machines to a fine finish for high-quality joinery applications.
Specie North American White Oak botanical name Quercus Alba. Mostly straight-grained with a medium to coarse texture.
Colour Creamy light-brown in appearance and consistent in colour. Sapwood is lighter in colour and heartwood is light to dark brown.
Fixings Normally installed with predrill, screw and plug method. Thinner sections can be installed with stainless steel nails.

What we need from you on Courier deliveries

Couriers are instructed to leave parcels somewhere safe should no one be at the property

The driver must have assistance to offload unless alternative arrangements made with our transport team
Deliveries are to kerbside only
Access must be suitable for lorries which will be 3.5 tonne 7.5 tonne or 14 tonne lorries (7.5 tonne being similar to average refuse collection lorry)
The drivers cannot enter customer properties or take materials to rear gardens.
Please check the delivery ticket is correct and sign to confirm this.
If you wish to collect please enter product into your basket and proceed to checkout.
During the checkout phase you will be able to select your day and time slot, your goods will be pre-picked and ready waiting on your arrival
Lead times are currently next day soonest and collections are Monday to Friday
Shop product like screws and treatment will be in the office please ensure you go to the office to get your paperwork and any accessories.
