An emerging team of ladies that are experiencing an amazing first season in a Women’s Rugby League, one of the fastest growing sports in the country. This team is full of a variety of women with a common interest, becoming the best at what we do. If you follow us on social media, @eucrfc_women on both Instagram and TikTok, you will meet our team. We range in age from 60 to 18 and come in all different shapes and sizes, variety is key for a rugby team, even myself at 5 foot nothing am able to make an impact on the pitch.

The sponsorship money provided by Southgate Timber will see us go on our first team tour, we will be competing against a variety of teams from university level to a mixture of premiere league level players in a 7s tournament.

One of our favourites fundraisers in the past has been the log haul, where we ran for 5 miles through fields, streams, and forests, carrying two tree logs between the team, we were able to build strength fitness and communication, so no one fell behind. Coming from a position of knowing the kind of laughter and enjoyment shared between the Southgate team both in and outside the work environment, we at EUCRFC Ladies are certain that we will enjoy a fruitful collaboration going into the future with Southgate Timber.
