We were really excited to put the custom designed, timber stand back in use which made its first appearance at the Grand Designs event earlier this year. The stand attracted a lot of visitors by demonstrating all our timber materials in practice. With the Southgate Timber van proudly on display in the middle of the stand, the Southgate Timber team were hard to miss!

A highlight of the even for us was engaging in meaningful conversations about the future of landscape and the role that timber plays in environmentally responsible designs. Many visitors were excited to learn about how our timber products, from narrow-profile cladding to hardwood decking solutions, contribute to creating durable, eco-friendly, and visually appealing outdoor spaces. The growing interest in sustainable materials was inspiring, and we enjoyed discussing how timber, being a renewable resource, is perfectly suited for modern landscaping.

Throughout the event, we aimed to highlight how our bespoke services can help transform any project into something truly unique, like the colour matching service on our Black Barn cladding.
