At Southgate Timber, we are always looking ahead. As demand grows for high performance, long lasting and visually striking timber, our product range continues to evolve to meet the needs of modern construction and landscaping projects. 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year, with several new products being introduced across decking and cladding. These additions reflect a clear shift towards durable hardwoods and thermally modified timbers that offer excellent stability, longevity and design flexibility.

Here is what’s to come to Southgate Timber in early 2026.

Tali Hardwood Decking Coming February 2026

Launching in February 2026, Tali hardwood decking will be a new addition to our decking range. Tali is a dense hardwood known for its strength and durability, making it well suited to outdoor decking applications. Its natural appearance offers a classic hardwood look, ideal for customers who want a robust timber with strong performance characteristics.

This product will provide another hardwood option for both residential and commercial decking projects, expanding choice for customers seeking longevity and natural timber character. Full product specifications will be available closer to launch.

Thermory Spruce Decking Due Early 2026

Thermory Spruce decking is also due to arrive in early 2026 and will offer a lighter, contemporary decking option with the benefits of thermal modification. Through the thermal modification process, Spruce gains improved dimensional stability and resistance to moisture compared to untreated softwood. This makes it a reliable choice for outdoor use while retaining a clean, modern appearance that works well in contemporary designs.

Thermory Spruce will complement our existing thermally modified timber range, offering more flexibility in colour tone and specification while maintaining strong performance standards.

Thermory Thermo-Ash Cladding Coming Early 2026

In early 2026, we will also be introducing Thermory Thermo-Ash cladding to the Southgate Timber range. Thermo-Ash is thermally modified to improve stability and durability, making it particularly well suited to external cladding applications. The thermal modification process enhances resistance to moisture and movement, helping cladding perform reliably in the UK climate over time.

This upcoming cladding range will sit alongside our existing, and vey popular, Thermory Thermo-Ash decking, allowing customers to achieve a cohesive, matching finish across both façades and outdoor spaces. For projects where continuity of material and tone is important, this opens up new design possibilities, from modern extensions to full garden transformations.

With its rich tone and refined appearance, Thermo ash cladding offers a premium option for contemporary builds, combining strong visual impact with proven performance.

Why These New Products Matter

Across decking and cladding, customers are increasingly prioritising materials that offer long term value, reduced maintenance concerns and consistent performance outdoors. By introducing new hardwood and thermally modified timber products, Southgate Timber continues to respond to these needs. These upcoming ranges provide more choice across budgets and aesthetics, while maintaining a strong focus on durability, stability and suitability for exterior use.

Whether you’re planning a residential project, a commercial development or specifying materials for future builds, these new products will offer additional flexibility when selecting the right timber.
