What is Grand Designs Live?

For those of you who don’t know, Grand Designs Live is a multi-award winning home building and renovation show that takes place just twice a year. Presented by Kevin McCloud from the hit Grand Designs TV series, the exhibition is filled with hundreds of companies showcasing their work, products and services in the world of home renovation. If you’re someone who works in the industry or even an individual thinking about starting a new home project, you won’t want to miss this exclusive event.

Where we come in

Our timber products are a massive part of home refurbs, from small projects like decking and fencing, to much larger ones like entire garden rooms or cladding an extension. Timber is the primary, most sustainable building material for all types of renovation. And it’s not just exterior projects, our products are perfect for interior applications too like bespoke staircases, doors, and loads more. That’s why the Grand Designs Live event is the perfect place for us to be, inspiring fresh, new ideas to elevate your personal space.

In November of last year, we took part in the FutureScape event, one of the UK’s largest landscape expo and trade event. In just a couple of days, we found our efforts to be more than successful with our stand constantly packed with both new and loyal customers, learning about all things timber. We found it to be lots of fun for our team, but more importantly, we gained a lot of interest, helping people all over the UK improve their homes.

Now, we’re coming back to exhibit and this time, we’re better than ever. For the last few months, we’ve been preparing thoroughly, putting together a bespoke stand that showcases all our best timbers in use along with some informational banners. Even the Southgate Timber van will be making another appearance this time. All that remains now is the show itself!

When & where

Funny enough, this exhibition will be taking place in the same building as the last one we showcased at, in the London ExCel Centre with the address being: Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL. It’s running for 9 days only, Saturday May 4th to Sunday May 12th, opening from 10am – 5pm. To access the event, you can register for your weekday or weekend tickets on the Grand Designs Live website. As mentioned before, you’ll be able to find us at Stand B340 where we’ll be waiting to tell you all about our products.
