Covid-19 update Tuesday 24th March

Following the Governments statement on the evening of Monday 23rd we are putting the following in place with immediate effect

1. Southgate Timber’s showroom will close at the end of business today - Tuesday 24th March
2. Pre-arranged collections will proceed as arranged for today only
3. Lorry deliveries for today will proceed as planned
4. As many orders as possible will be despatched today via courier

Remote staff will continue to take calls, emails and website updates during any closure periods

We can continue to take enquiries and orders during the closure period for collection or delivery once the Government advise businesses can re-open.

The website will remain live to take orders for processing. Our mills remain open for large orders/enquiries please email, call or live chat with details. We have over £2,000,000.00 worth of stock in our warehouse ready for immediate despatch once our yard operatives can return to work.

Our Mill is still open to processes and deliver larger orders in Cedar & Siberian Larch, please get in touch with your enquiries.

In line with the Government's guidance, we will continue to operate as usual, carefully following official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England. Our staff have shown massive commitment to the challenge and we again want to thank them for their efforts.
